Lambing 2011
We are now looking forward to our lambing in April 2011. Our ewes are contentedly approaching motherhood again, but until the first lambs arrive, here are some pictures from our 2010 lambing to get you in the mood.

Morning feeding time and the lambs have formed a gang to charge around the field. The three piebald lambs (the tiny one is called Chi-Chi as she looks like a baby panda) are Soays, the rest Hebrideans.
Chi-Chi and friends
Chi-Chi the Soay is the tiniest lamb in the field, but has become the leader of the gang. Here she takes her Hebridean friends exploring on some old bales.
Black Soay lamb
This is one of our black Soay ewe lambs. Our first Soays were black and we keep a black line going.
